Cineform has some very exciting products for the post production of video up to and including 4K all in real time and across both mac and PC platforms. They have just added first light allowing colour correction, in real time, on a laptop! When products ship using cinema DNG , like the ikonoskop DII, cineform plans a conversion solution which will be performed during card offload. This is exciting news and a very efficient workflow for end to end post. Look at the accompanying video and be amazed….I am. The cineform codec is HDcam SR quality and occupies the same space as P2 files when recorded at 1080.
